Just a heads up. If you are moving from a copper line to a Fibre to the premises line you cannot take your old number with you. We recently moved to a new home on a newbuild developement.
Our existing BB provider couldn't supply our new address so let us leave foc even though we were still in contract. Well done Talk Talk!
After speaking to BT and getting a nice deal and being assured we could take our old number, we ordered a package from them and eventually got our service up and running. When I contacted them to find out when the number would be changed I was told it wasn't possible because apparently the copper and the FTTP are completely different networks.
It's not the end of the world just something to be aware of.

You could have ported your Talk Talk number to a VOIP provider , and used it over your FTTP broadband , accepting any old number from BT ( so in effect you would have two numbers )
TBH , number port isn't really anything to do with moving home , if you were a BT customer , and you moved out of the original exchange area, even without FTTP , chances are you couldn't take your number anyway0
