Neighbour not giving consent to move manhole

They obviously don't want you to build it. Did they disagree to the planning permission?0

Because you don't appreciate the value of being able to clear your own drains?
People need educating. Inspection chambers aren't
The prettiest but they can be made to disappear quite easily, whether it's a recessed cover to allow paving to carry over it or, where it's on soft ground, putting a pot over it or planning a shrub to provide a canopy over. One then maintains the benefit of having to argue with one less neighbour when they do back up.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes I will loose my side access into the garden. I'm not a big fan of side access into the garden
Like others have said I'd seriously rethink this. We dont have access to ours and it almost put us off buying. It's been a royal pain since. Work colleague went for a viewing this week and turned straight around when he realized there was no side access. A lot of people value it very highly.0 -
If there will be no side access for you, will there still be side access for your neighbour? Will their access be wide enough to accommodate a wheelie bin? What about your bin - do you plan to keep it on the front, or can you put it outside a back gate?0
