I dislike the compensation culture, too. However, in this case, the bankFair enough. I!!!8217;m just a little fed up with the compensation culture that appears to be growing in this country.- failed to make a payment in line with the T&Cs that apply to the account
- failed to even send any apology to the affected account holders
If you, as a customer, fail to stick to the T&Cs of the account and go into an unarranged overdraft of more than £7, you automatically get charged fees. Why should only customers get fined, why not the bank, too? Having to call them about it (as they didn't have the courtesy to contact affected customers) means people have to give up their time. I don't know about you, but my time doesn't come for free, so it's only fair if they reimburse me for my time, as well as for the cost of the call. If BOS don't like this, they know how to avoid such claims in future
I did offer them to settle for a tenner, but they insisted to pay me more. Fair dos.0
