Are they contacting people in a specific location order - or alphabetically or random ?
I too have been waiting years to hear and have been on a DLA indefinate award since 2003 !

It appears to be random. My surname is near the beginning of the alphabet, and I know of others in our town who have been called up for PIP after being on an indefinite award, but their surnames are later in the alphabet. My son's indefinite award started in 2006, but he was on DLA (time limited awards) from birth.

It doesn't appear to be on the last letter of NI numbers either, as my son's is close to the beginning of the alphabet. I suppose that it might be in age order, but he is twenty, and I think from your posts that you are older, so that seems unlikely too.

My son also has an indefinite award. I expected to be contacted in 2014, when he turned 16. I rang to ask about it, as Motability had been in touch regarding changing his car. I was told at the time that indefinite awards were being left until last,

I have no idea why you were told that as I had an indefinite High Mobility & Middle Care award and was called to carry out a PIP claim back in 2013. I received 0 points after the transfer.

Strange that because in this thread you very clearly state that in 2013 you were asked to claim PIP.

I don't think there's any logic to it. Hubby not long got transferred over, I've the same surname and same first name initial am still waiting! I've had my award longer but both indefinite.
