Thanks folks. Coincidentally, I picked up a jar of Sharwood's "Butter Chicken" sauce in Tesco, down from £1.75 to £1, and found that's very much to my liking!

I was going to suggest this! Since I've reached the ripe old age of 59, I have the same trouble. Used to love a madras / Rogan Josh / etc, bur they're all far too hot for me now. I don't like the creamy'ness of a Korma. Butter Chicken is perfect. Did you know it's also called Mahkani curry sauce. Sainsbury's do a lovely one!
  • I agree with 'DigForVictory' about the Lidl Curry Sauces in jars - their Korma is very nice. I do it with Diced Chicken (or Turkey) with some mushrooms and pieces of peppers.

My OH prefers something with a bit more 'heat' - so I get him the Jalfrezi / Balti / Rogan Josh. The Madras / Vindaloo are too much for HIM these days  .
  • Curry and Chips. That's for wooozies and suffeners!
Us from up norff have gravy on our chips!
