Raisin £50 bonus account

Anyone else having trouble applying for this account? After filling in all my details, I've been told my application failed. I've read the eligibility requirements in the FAQ - no problems there.
The only thing I can think of that might be causing a problem is that I moved house 4 months ago but I'm on the electoral roll already and I did provide my previous address which I lived in for over 10 years.

I opened the account and a deposit email was received. I applied for the £50 bonus and got an email saying they will respond within 24 - 48 hours that was 5 business days ago and have heard nothing.0

Is there a minimum deposit to get the £50 bonus?0

According to the MSE article "Raisin: Earn £50 boost on 1.95% one-year fix – equiv to 6.95% back on £1,000", you need to:girllikeme1 wrote: »Is there a minimum deposit to get the £50 bonus?
"Pay in at least £1,000 within five working days of opening it."

A few posts on the Raisin thread suggests that if your name and/or address don't match exactly with other records, then you will be rejected.

Yes this happened to me, I applied without using my middle name as I checked my credit file first and it only showed my 1st name (as previous thread indicated that it should match file) and it was declined.
I then amended my details to include my middle name (as your details are kept on your Raisin account), as when the original application was declined it said make sure your name matched your passport/driving license and the 2nd application was accepted.0 -
Fill in the blanks guys; "If it sounds too good to be true _ _ _ _ _ _ _". Easier ways to earn £50 tbh not least via Nationwide and getting mates/family to sign up & earn £100 each.Ethical moneysaver0

Yeah, but what if you've already done all those "easier" ways!!!!
;) How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm unable to edit my name to remove my middle name and although I was able to change my previous address slightly, it still didn't work. Looks like I'm going to be out of luck with this one.
