we swap card

Hi all just a warning if using a weswap card for your travel money.
We transferred money for the first time and were locked out of the account and unable to access anything.
Our mistake was to transfer from my partners account and although the transfer was accepted a transfer should be in the account holders name...in this case me.
To access our money we were told my partner would have to send a screenshot of his online bank account showing the transaction...we weren't entireley comfortable doing this for obvious reasons.
The only way to access our cash was to close the account and request a refund which will take up to 5 days.
Whilst we understand the need for security surely there is a better way of verifying than this?
Upshot is due to a simple mistake...(they sent an email pointing out their t and cs and telling me once the account was closed I was more or less banned from opening another) we now have to wait for the refund and find another way of getting holiday cash.
Make sure transfers are from weswap account holder only or face a minefield...I gather it is the same if a parent tries to transfer funds to a traveller which could mean quite a bit of paperwork involved before they get their cash...

I got one but don't need it now as have -
https://www.revolut.com
https://monzo.com
https://www.starlingbank.com
They all offer Mastercard interbank currency conversion rates, and Starling does unlimited ATM fee free withdrawals when abroad. Monzo and Revolut are limited to approx £200 pcm from an ATM.
All are much easier to use and offer way more service and are free. We Swap is redundant.0
