Can I remove this search?

All the advice in the above posts is correct, so I won't repeat it. I had one experience with Addison Lee, where I applied for their credit account and 5 hard searches were made due to a poor lending system.

I contacted them and within one month all 4 searches were removed, with the one remaining which was correct.

I have terminated credit agreements in the past and have never been able to remove the foorprint search, as it reflects an *application* made for credit, rather than the credit agreement itself. If the search system did work in this format, searches would have an APPROVED or DECLINED outcome, which would be a massive hit to borrowers, as lenders could make more bias decisions than present.
