Redruby I hope Evie's injections go well, and she's a good girl at the vet's.
Silver Oldie There's no harm in looking, you're not committing yourself to anything. Does the estate agent have a website? Might be able to get a “virtual” look there.
Snoozer I hope Ziggypup is ok.
Gers oh no, your poor mum. Posi-vibes for you both.
ILC I hope the CT scan shows what's wrong, and that your OH will be home soon.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all, late on parade today
.
The bedding was hurriedly brought in last night and then rinsed and spun. I put it out this morning along with another load and it has all dried :j. It's in the basket at the foot of the stairs waiting for Mr Fix It to take it up for me. My wrist started really hurting again yesterday so I'm back on the anti inflamms. "Try not to use it" was the advice, how ? Some simple daily things like putting clothes on, need 2 hands .
This morning we picked up Mr Fix It's script from the surgery and went up to town to the pharmacy. I called in Tesco for milk, bread, bbq meat and fruit. We also called in DD's on the way back to bring her empty bins back in.
This afternoon I got roped in to help Mr Fix It clear one area of his shed, as we are hoping to replace the roof on Thursday. It's bl00dy difficult doing anything one handed, but we took our time and it seems there are quite a few items destined for the tip too ( no..... not him, well not yet anyway :rotfl: ). I also picked another punnet of blackberries and there are still more to ripen, it's got to be the best haul yet :j.
Mr Fix it is I.C. tea tonight as I have fallen out of love with cooking, I'm fed up having the same old meals. So goodness know what I'll get, there are always the strawberries and cream to fall back on.
Elona I will keep everything crossed for the new arrival. May the baby GC make a grand entrance soon. Is there a baby dance we can do for your DD ?
Sending healing vibes to the poorly and their carers, especially Gers, Csarina, I love Comps, Dumpling and the Ta's. Hugs are winging their way to those with difficulties or worries (or difficult parents and you know who you are)
I hope you had a good(ish ) Tuesday and please take care of yourselves.

I did suggest waving a bar of chocolate over the bump to entice her out but DD did not see the funny side!!!
Gers
I hope your Mum has been admitted by now and you can get the help and treatment she needs. If it is any consolation hospitals in England are having trouble hitting the targets too.
The lady who helps with gardening has cleared up the front garden and it looks a lot neater and I chopped up and diced the tired looking carrots that were delivered this morning and put them in the freezer. Having low cal sausages and mash for tonight and there is yoghurt and strawberries if my teeth get bored!
Hugs to all.0 -

can you look online at the house on the estate agents website before you decide whether to go in person?
How are you getting on with your tv box??
Looked online, I'm sure I would love it. Needs a few bits done, new carpets, nothing major BUT
there's only two of us, do I really need
30' x 15' Lounge
17' x 15' dining room
13' x 10 kitchen plus utility room
and four bedrooms
thinking of housework, heating
need head to rule over heart.
Haven't bought TV box yet but trying to decide if this is ok

Pops out of lurking
Silver-oldie, did you say it was a bungalow? How often do they come on the market? Does it have a decent sized garden?
There is nothing wrong with heart ruling head if your investigations into practicalities and finances are thorough
To all the poorlies & those with poorly family, I am sending hugs & good wishes - just wish there was something practical I could do.

Oh I thought you had got one, I'm so sorry I can't help, I am so useless with anything electronic (are there up to date reviews you can read on it?)
The bungalow sounds lovely but massive lol0 -

No. It's too big....Just saying...
Tea was an abomination. I hang my head in shame.
Still, Livewire had a good day playing Lego and planting seeds and when I needed a break I gave him his tablet to watch Kidstube.
Youngest has bought his new girlfriend to meet us. She's very pleasant but oh the tattoos!
