BW Legal, Defence help please

oh no back again with more troubles. It was tansferred to our local court. My son had a NOTICE TO PAY TRIAL FEE with a court date and the date the fee must be paid by nothing about witness statement dates or anything. and he had heard nothing since until the end of last week.

3 days before the last day for BW to pay the fee he received a letter from BW saying he had not contacted them about the debt and their client will begin court action ( just like the first letter).
Then 2 days later another letter arrived this time stating another different amount, they have added another 25 quid ( possibly another court fee ) and this time the first time since they took this over offering to settle for a reduced price of £100, and today is the last day to take that offer.

THEN between these 2 last letters they have paid the court fee on the last date they had to pay it which now only gives us the weekend to do the witness statement and get it to the court.
The only reason we even know this is I have seen people on here with court dates after his already received witness statements from the other party! I told him to phone the court to ask when where the witness statement has to go to and check if the fee had been paid he did and they told him the date it was paid, he said he hadn't had anything about sending a witness statement and they said they would resend at a cost of £10 he cant afford that and it wont get to him before the statement has to be in any way.
We are a little blind as to what he should be sending, hes been given a e-mail address, would he have to send every bit of paper work by e mail that will be used as evidence. I will be all weekend scanning stuff if thats the case!
