Nottingham Building Society Lifetime Cash ISA

I was in a branch on Saturday and asked about it.

It was supposed to launch on 25 July, but has been pushed back to 25 August. It's likely to have a similar interest rate to Skipton Building Society's Online Cash Lifetime ISA.

Nottingham's will be online and branch based.

Is that so they can adjust to any Bank of England rate hike on Thursday do you reckon?

Potentially, I guess. Save them announcing then adjusting.

But then again, following the rise last November, Nottingham didn't put any savings rates up. Skipton however did across most accounts.

Yeah they said you can transfer to them, similar to how a Help to Buy ISA transfer would work.

Maybe now Nottingham will decide to go in at 1% to match Skipton's rise from the base rate news yesterday.

I doubt that will go anywhere tbh. I think they were waiting to see the BOE decision.
