  • Well I'm stuck. My $30 payment from instagc still didnt show up in paypal. Queried it with insta who said I would need to take it up with paypal. Queried it with paypal who said I needed to get insta to contact them which I cant see them doing. There is no problem with my paypal account accepting payments.
    So annoying

    So an update:

Put a polite post on facebook and didnt expect anything to happen today but they have contatcted me and refunded me my points. No explanation though so not sure why it didnt work.

Looks like I am back to cashing out to amazon. Oh well, there is always something on there I need.

Congrats on getting it sorted, KM:T, and well done to shariann for the advice to post about it on Facebook:T. I know Aesop, as shariann said, is a big advocate of taking that route when other things fail. Usually does the trick.

I bemoan the fact that Shop and Scan don't offer a Paypal or BACS option as I usually have to cash out via Amazon vouchers. I don't use and am not interested in any of the other shops/eateries that are on offer. Seems a bit silly getting Amazon vouchers though as I end up buying stuff I don't need just to 'use them up'. Not helping my decluttering/minimalist drive is it:rotfl:? After your experience with Paypal and other things I've read from others having problems maybe it's no bad thing that I can't use Paypal for Shop and Scan redemptions after all;)

Have a good and profitable week, everyone:beer:
  • Email from Ziffit, the have accepted most of the books/dvds so £18.99 to come from them at some point as well as £7.37 from Zapper :)

At some point some of my TopCashBack claims might succeed too, I think it was a problem with my adblocker and the majority of stuff hasnt tracked back to May, I have 6 claims in worth nearly £40 if they ever track :(

And I need to think where else to get an extra penny or 2.....
  • Hi everyone - I know I'm late, but I really need to join.

I need to makes £60 before the end of the month as I got a parking ticket for overstaying my welcome by 22 stupid minutes (insert petulant child emoji).

I think this means I have to make £2.50 each day to be car park neutral.

Welcome to the thread farmers-wife. Bad luck on the parking ticket though. Hope you make that back and enough extra to give yourself a treat too xx

Slow starting here. Not far off £10 cashout on Shoppix and £3 Receipt Hog (not sure I'll bother with RH after that), my BT contract ends in a couple of weeks so I'll be rejigging my contract and waiting to hear on 2 x £100 from Nationwide for recommending people who wanted to switch their accounts over. Plenty in the pipeline but nothing in the bank as yet.

In other news, some might remember from last month that the husband moved from weekly to monthly salary, and a better salary (but more important better job satisfaction). It's been a bit of a juggle to say the least but we're getting there. All will be grand when he's paid on the 20th (I'm self-employed so have some client invoices coming in as and when and some for the 10th each month) and we're going to switch to cash envelopes for a while.

The plan is to withdraw cash for food, fuel, fun and misc (i.e. uniform etc). Who else has or does use a cash envelope system?

I found some Tesco and Sainsbury vouchers over the weekend, so I've moved that money over and I'll use the vouchers as and when.

It brings my total up to £37.45/£310

I'll be posting my ebay sale off today and trying to find out what my ebay fees will be so I can take that off my total. I'm sure I paid them early last time...

I've gone onto swagbucks and got my 18 bonus points for the month lolol. I need another 300 to get a paypal voucher so I'm going to see what I can do there.

I'm also finding that I'm not doing much with the surveys that come into my email inbox from different sites, so I really need to work on that
  • Mini £3 profit from an ebay sale. Almost forgot I still had a few small listings on there. Will have to remember to take down before my holiday!

Apart from that I have made zero inroads to money making this month, other then scanning shopping receipts, which seems to build up point wise relatively quickly. Still waiting for some quidco cash back to clear. Still have a biiiig pile of things to sell and little motivation.
