  • Good morning all. :D

    Hope everyone is doing ok?

Hope you're ok Aesop and life is getting sorted for you.

Does anyone else find making money on line gets in the way of real life sometimes? I'm on a day off and have a multitude of things I should be doing around the house, shopping, visiting allotment etc ,etc and what am I doing? Sat here in front of the telly just clicking away probably for pennies. Its a habit I cant seem to break and feel I "have" to do it to get my freebies I like off amazon or more money in the overpaying mortgage pot. I know I dont "have" to do it but its become second nature to me. Doing just two extra shifts a month would probably earn me far more than I can earn online. What are your thoughts?

Anyway........my prolific has just cleared in my bank £20.47 and tips for yesterday were £4.75.

I am now going to get on with some real life stuff. Honest!!

    Afternoon everyone

I have been to the doctors this morning and confirmed I have sciatica. She gave me some stronger painkillers and recommended gentle exercise. I feel better now I know what it is but am in quite a bit of pain when I walk at the moment. Taken first lot of painkillers so hopefully it will ease off a bit.

Will google yoga as you suggested KM. My friend from work swears by it but it isn!!!8217;t something I have ever tried so now might be the time.

I have also been investigating the cost of swimming at the local pool as I have always enjoyed swimming and really need to do some exercise, even before the pain in the butt! They have a swim membership for £22 a month which is cheaper than individual visits if you go at least 4 times in a month. I just want to check that it can be cancelled at any time and then I think I will go for it.

This lady is really good on you tube and there are loads of other exercises on you tube for sciatica.

Have you ever had a good massage? That could also help. I used to suffer with lower back pain and still do occasionally if I overdo it. I have regular massages......once every 5/6 weeks and it has helped enormously. Swapped my treatment which I have had today for reflexology as my feet were feeling it after being on them during the heat wave. Pure bliss. :D

Nipped into sainsburys on the way home and used a voucher.

    £12 off £60 spend. :D

    Morning all, a quick update.
An extra £55 in the pot from some ad hoc work. On top of that, we received the details through the post of the husband's healthcare cash plan yesterday. I didn't realise his new position came with one! It is funded by his employer and looking through the info we can claim cashback on things we'll actually use (for him and the kids). For example, £80 year on dental appointments, £80 on optical (he wears glasses, needs a check-up and new lenses I suspect). All sorts of bits and pieces but a win for us. It could save us at least £180 in regular appointemts/check-ups but potentially more.

Oh, and another £5 added as they gave him a £5 lunch voucher for the (pretty high-end) sandwich/meal van that comes around. Everyone gets one every month that there are no accidents/their health and safety record is clean. It's been over four years and they are still giving out vouchers. No pack-up needed on Monday so I'm saving that.

Now to complete some more work before my house is invaded for a playdate at 8.30am!

I've had my extra money from DS come through and I've been paid from my Saturday job.

kantankrusmare I was going to stop working on the weekend completely but I can earn my monthly money in 3 shifts, so I've started doing 2 shifts a month.
I think I've got to look at the time element in relation to the money earned and clicks and surveys etc feel like hard work to me. I do try but lose the will very quickly!

    Anyway, I'm now on £174.34/£310
  • £6.10 cashed out from survey sites so £30.56/£50.00
  • Have spent the past couple of days at the seaside with my two little girls, no more parking fines this time, thankfully.

Doing rather well on the earning front, I've managed to cash-out on quite a few sites:
    £15.00 - Survey Bods
    £5.00 - VYPR
    £6.76 - Prolific
    £1.11 - Qmee
    .98p - TopCashBack

    So a total of £28.85.

Well done, KM, to you and shariann for doing such a sterling job of running the thread:A. I'm so impressed:beer:

Sorry I haven't been around much, not been very well:(. Feeling a little bit more like my 'old' self this afternoon (if that can be considered a 'plus':rotfl:). Trying to have an online catch-up.

Just wanted to ask where all these Sainsbury big money off coupons/codes are coming from that you seem to be getting a lot of, KC. When Sainsbury's were touting for online business in our villages last year they bombarded me with great offers like that but once I became a reasonably regular shopper they totally stopped:(. Haven't received anything from them for about 6 months, either by post or online.

Well done to all money makers this month so far:T:beer:. Needless to say I've made zilch but I've hardly spent anything either so I shouldn't grumble. Haven't cooked any food for days (seems like weeks:eek:), goodness knows what OH has been eating, his kitchen skills are on the same level as a toddler:rotfl:. I didn't smell any burning so I expect he's been existing on Pot Noodles and tinned sardines:rotfl:
