Morning all.
Is anyone familiar with Utility W@rehouse? I'm not looking to be referred (yet) but wondered if people do find them more competitive pricing-wise, how they find the cashback card (I'm not quite sure what this is?) and how they are like to deal with.
I'm doing a 3-monthly review of all my bills/payments to make sure I'm on the best deals.
Challenge-wise I'm close to a small payout on Receipt Hog and a tenner on Shoppix.MSE-ing since 20070 -

We looked into it as we know a couple of people who are reps/sellers, but it didn't work for us - we'd already switched our gas and electricity on uSwitch, but what killed it for us is that we are phone/broadband resellers so get those at cost anyway, and we get our mobiles through work, so there were no savings to be made there, but I know other people who have done really well through it - they'll give you a quote for nothing so worth a try I'd say0 -
£3.50 cashed out from TCB after about 5 months pending so £34.06/£50.00
That gives me hope! I've got 6 claims at the moment, potentially worth a total of £39, and the oldest 2 are from May. It's so dispiriting looking day after day and nothing has changed. The one from a purchase on 28 July is still saying 'waiting to submit'.
Nice to know I might still get something from them!! Fingers crossed!!0 -

I still have a claim outstanding from March 2017! I chased it a while back and it finally moved from pending to confirmed but still says it could be 8 weeks before it becomes payable £10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Wow, some great amounts being made - well done everyone :T
Sending love and hugs to Shariann, it was lovely to read your news but oh how bittersweet for all of you.
We are away on holiday at the moment but managed to win a £1 Amazon voucher today on the "Ribena" comp (this makes a change from the bottle of Ribena vouchers that I have been passing on) - it's a daily comp here

Good Luck everyone and keep up the great money-making.
Thank you ziggy. The money arrived yesterday and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I have paid off a credit card already :j Need to get a settlement figure for the mortgage and the loan I took for the solar panels now to get them sorted.
Thanks for the link, will give it a try. I am determined not to get complacent and this kind of thing has become a way of life so I will still be looking for money off coupons, savings, freebies etc :rotfl:£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Morning. When I moved to my current home it was a business premises and utility warehouse were the energy providers. It was a bit of a faff changing the account to domestic but I think they were quite helpful if I remember. I never got round to using the cashback at all before we changed suppliers with an MSE deal but we have a friend who absolutely raves about it. One thing I remember is that as they are a communications company foremost the cashback I got paid on my 123 account was at 3% instead of the usual 2% for fuel.£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Thank you lovelies.
I've had another look, read a load of reviews and to be honest, it doesn't look like it will be worth the effort.
Now, does anyone know who I (the husband) needs to sleep with at the council to get the council tax slashed?MSE-ing since 20070 -
£10.60 cashed out from PA so now at £49.91/£50.000

I tried this many years ago after finding out that some houses in our street were paying Band A whilst others (myself included) were paying Band B. They came up with a load of claptrap about the valuation of the houses when council tax was brought in and how it was worked out. Seems very unfair to me as the houses are all semi detached with the same amount of bedrooms and pretty much same layout but they wouldnt budge.
Not much moneymaking going on here except for my tips.
£12.50 to add.
Nice to see my mortgage drop to under the £45,000 mark with the overpayments I have been making and changed in signature.
We have a bit of a dilemma at the moment. We have a rental property which we would eventually like to live in if our second child ever leaves home. Our excellent tennant who has been there for four years is having to leave due to finding a job in different town. We have had some good but also some awful tennants over the years. Not sure we can be doing with the hassle of advertising and all the hassle that goes with it anymore.
The girl who is in at the moment knows someone who might be interested and can vouch for her being reliable. She has a viewing tomorrow so fingers crossed. If not........we are thinking about selling. We wont make a fortune on it but if as I would do, we used the money to pay more off our mortgage, we could be mortgage free in about 2 years. My OH is a live for today kind though and I know he will want to spend the money on either a new car, a camper van, nice hols , etc etc. How do we compromise? I cant seem to get through to him what being mortgage free would mean to our finances.
He got offered the job at airport but the money is atrocious! Also would have to pay £250 for uniform!! He said thanks but no thanks. :rotfl:
Anyway sorry for long post.
Well done everyone on any money made and keep going for second half of month. :TMake £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
