Blueprint ISA

I have a company (Blueprint Industrial Engineering plc) who is interested in offering me an IFISA with a 6% fixed annual return. They say if it looks too good then it probably is, but wondered if any of you had heard of/had dealings with Bluprint or Reyker Securities plc who they are affiliated with. Many thanks in advance for any advice given. Jean

IFISA you say? You are aware of the risks of P2P lending, yes? The lack of FSCS compensation for any losses? The potential for your money to be tied up for years if things go wrong and the possibility of losing most of your investment if things go really wrong?

That said, I have 3 IFISAs with providers paying 10-14% returns. But these form only a small part of my overall investments.

Edit: You should also be aware that a fake "Reyker Securities" is known to the FCA to be involved in scams: see this page
If you have been contacted out of the blue (no pun intended) by a company claiming to be Blueprint or Reyker, then it is likely it is not the real one.

I would suggest you avoid this and stick to mainstream products designed for retail investors.

Why do you think it is too good to be true?

it is a 100% loss of capital option. So, 6% is not unrealistic for such an investment type. It has no FSCS protection either.

Its similar in risk to placing money in a single company share that you have never heard of.
