Where are the best sun cream offers?

I'd never buy suncream abroad.
I've seen it in racks out in the full sun - totally the wrong way to store suncream. And you don't know if someone has opened it, sniffed it and put it back - in which case the effective life date will start to count down from that point.
Some places abroad sell fake branded suncream.
I check brands for UVA protection.
5 stars give the best protection.
Boots Soltan has 5 star UVA, some more expensive makes don't offer such good protection.

Absolutely true Pollycat. Racks of suncream covered in dust displayed outside! No way. Plus we go to the Canaries frequently and the average price of a bottle of suncream even in supermarkets is over €15. Much better value and safer to buy in the UK.0 -
I can recommend Calypso Once available from Home Bargains at a reasonable price. Just spent 10 days in Croatia with no burn marks whatsoever. They sell other brands at reasonable prices too.0

Just to say factor 50 is no longer generally recommended.
Factor 30 is well sufficient. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -

Warning over suntan lotion application - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-44936124Once a day?
There are lots of "extended wear" sunscreens on the market that advertise themselves as being for use "once a day", or claiming to last for eight hours.
But dermatologists recommend that these products should still be applied at least every two hours, like any other sunscreen, since the risk that you may have missed a spot - or that it will rub or wash off in that time - are too high.
A Which? report in 2016 criticised these products for not living up to their claims.
I always apply before going out in the sun and keep out of the sun between the hours of 11am and 3pm.
I use the appropriate amount of cream and make sure I don't miss any bits.
I don't trust the 'once a day' products because I'm always worried that it may rub off and I'll not be protected so I prefer to apply normal suncream.0
