Well the problem I'm faced with is tomorrow is day 31 since the appeal rejection was recieved and I can't get any bank statements until Tuesday so I think I'm going to just have to send the PoPLA appeal as its too risky to rely on the brewery canceling the charge. What are your thoughts?

Yes of course, get on with your POPLA submission. The receipts/statements can be sent to the brewery while your POPLA appeal is being assessed. Don't miss that deadline - PE are litigious and are quick to issue proceedings where a motorist seems not to have complied with the appeals process.

Regardless of what POPLA say, the brewery should have the power to cancel tickets.

  • Thank you for submitting your parking charge Appeal to POPLA.

An Appeal has been opened with the reference *************

Parking Eye Ltd have told us they do not wish to contest the Appeal. This means that your Appeal is successful and you do not need to pay the parking charge.

    Yours sincerely

  • Successful. Thanks for all your help on this guys
  • Hi, how did this plan out for you? I was recently charged for waiting for my partner at 10.30pm for 11 minutes! I have wrote my appeal so fingers crossed. It’s a joke. :(
