TBH, the only person who might be aware of the terms and options of whatever finance agreement you happen to have. . . is you. You don't say if this is a leased vehicle to a business user, a leased vehicle to a business of which you're an employee, or a vehicle on a PCP deal. Terms & conditions vary. You need to sit down and read them thoroughly before end-of-contract, paying particular attention to large print details about contract duration total mileage and contract duration wear and tear.

Thanks, I will do! It's my first car you see and my dad dealt with most of it.

Please don't delete original posts just because you're happy (or stropping because you haven't had the answers you want...). They may be useful for others in the future.

    Ford Car Finance

Hello, my car is going back in September and i've just had to pay for a 3 year service. They told me to book my car in as the seat is jammed (under the warranty) and my breaks have around 1000 miles left until they are too worn down (i wont be doing that many miles before it goes back). Basically i am just wondering if anyone is aware of my options when i take the car back and if they are going to charge me for the breaks when i do so.
    Thanks :)
As ever in these threads, the answer is in the industry standard fair wear and tear guide that your finance house will have provided you with a copy of.
    https://www.drive-electric.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Fair_Wear_Tear.pdf

If the pads are merely imminent, then you're fine. If the pads have worn so low that they've started to damage the discs, that's not fine.

If your dad dealt with things, then is the finance even in your name?

It's 'you're' but I know you don't care. Also, don't delete your question - it could be helpful for others.

The fact you felt the need to reply suggests otherwise, Mr Stroppy.
