    43.5%...so not bad, and payrise in december too (hopefully a large one as it marks the end of my probation period!)

    Ours is about 15% of our joint income.

    Just thought I would quickly add as well - I work as an underwriter, and in general my employers would class 50-60% of your annual salary as a 'reasonable/affordable level of borrowing' (obviously a large number of other factors are taken into account too). Not saying I agree or disagree with this, but just thought it might be of interest .

    It is interesting actually. Makes you wonder why they then allow people to borrow upwards of 150% of your income! :confused:
