Debt V Salary - what's yours?

I've(We've) got a few debts over the last year aftering buying our 1st house. The numbers always look a little scary to me, but I worked out that our debt is equal to 39% of our annual income.

I wondered what everyone else's is. What's your debt as a %age of your annual income? :)

  • When I first joined here mine was 163%.

    Now it's about 55%. :D
  • As joint salaries go our debt to annual income is approx 25%.

If I was to do it on my own salary, then my debit is approx 12.5%... so overall not too bad.

I am hoping to have my small bit of debt finished by June 2008.

My debts come to about 64% of my salary but if I included my rent money its 49% that includes my mortgage as most of the debt is there but not my living expenses which leaves me about 350 a month to play with, er I mean pay off debts!
