    Hello,

I have read through much of the info on here and don’t want to go over old ground, but think my circumstances are a little bit unique.

Long story short, I received a letter from ‘Trace’ for a Parking Charge with a fine of £160.

    This was in June 2018.

I was not the driver, I sent them a letter to their Registered Company address, explaining that I was not the driver and to cease communication with me or I would consider it harassment, and I didn’t hear from them again.

Until now, almost two years later, they have decided to pop up with a fresh letter saying charge is “still outstanding” and now a further letter (pre-action protocol), giving me 14 days to pay.

Does me initial reaction still apply, and is this even legal to decide to chase again 2 years later???

    Many thanks!

NEWBIES - HOW TO UPLOAD LINKS TO PHOTOS/SCANS TO MSE

To upload a photo/scan link, you first need to host it on a free photo hosting site (like Dropbox, Imurg or Tinypic), copy the URL, paste it here, but change the http to hxxp and we'll do the conversion. Newbies can't directly upload links to photos/scans until they've a few posts under their belt.

md9 - Please do the following. Send them a Subject Access Request (your right under Art 15 GDPR). Send it by email and keep a copy. They have one month to respond. From what you say it sounds like they have unlawfully processed your personal data. Collect evidence together. Your SAR is part of the evidence gathering. You have the right to sue for breaches of GDPR. Do come back with any questions and an update following your SAR. Following my SAR my PCN was immediately cancelled but I am now suing for £750 for breach of GDPR.
