Definitely stop your DD. I still haven't had a final bill from them so, if you're in credit, there may be a wait to get your money back.

This is what happened with Zebra Power:

Confirmation of DD amount.
Welcome letter.
Notification that DD was set up.
Request for meter reading.
Notification of start date.

Because Together are incompetent, I emailed to check it had gone through OK and they replied next day to confirm. Very happy with them so far.

Cancelled Together Energy DD.

Received email from Zebra Power after submitting meter reading saying start date 29 Aug, after switching applied for on 8 Aug.

Switch to Zebra Power went ahead as scheduled at end of Aug. Received email for meter reading in Nov and sent first bill after submitting. Seems not much feedback on them so assume they're not popular. Hope they dont go bust.

Well, I have now been with them since the end of July and no problems whatsoever. I like the fact that, after you submit a meter reading, you get an up to date account total which has always been accurate.
