Paying for new phone on finance

Odd question.

If a phone is being purchased on finance, with sim only contract paid monthly, can there be issues if payment for phone is missed but the connectivity is maintained?

If both with the same network which I'm assuming you mean), they'd blacklist the phone for none payment.
    I can't see they'd block the sim if it's being paid for. . .

After a while you'd get debt collectors knocking on your door.

Whether or not the phone gets blocked will depend on the network, many don't block for this reason, but you're on the slippery path to a ruined credit record.
  • Thanks for replies, not me as I have more sense than that! Bosses daughter, I know he pays for her SIM card, but he refused to buy latest phone for her, wants her to learn how to control her money, but she has bought the phone on finance. Oh well, she will learn eventually, but it will be an expensive lesson.
