Trade in year2 of 4 year finance
Is it in theory possible to trade my car in with only 20 of 48 months finance paid.
I'm considering a similar car with <30k miles if possible maybe 6K purchase cost.
I've tonight requesting dealer to inform me of current trade in value.
Other than starting finance again, is there any other reasons to consider.
(Tech reason as my clio meadianav tech Satan nav radio unit has failed with no option of buying new aftermarket stereo as no facia available)
Sounds not. Very important.though I'm coming to terms at the very negative prospect of paying another 2.5 year finance with no car stereo or bluetooth calls.
Thought why not consider another car.
A replacement radio from Renault £400 +vat-not what I want to pay for years old tech.
Thanks in advance mser's

Anything is possible but I bet in the long run it!!!8217;ll cost more than a new radio.0

You're going to lose more than £400 plus vat if you get rid of this car purely due to your stereo problems.0

Thanks mser's 2 reply whilst I was on dealership e-chat whilst I consider another car.
Beleive me I agree there will be a financial loss >£400
I've honestly been unlucky this time with my unit being intergrate into dash etc.
3rd party diags yesterday ruled out any possibility to purchase a new aftermarket stereo which I would have enjoyed t.b.h.
Once I get a call tomorrow maybe I'll get an idea of trade in value+future payments.
Only other option would have been a second hand unit from e-bay @ £150 +100 install -at my risk in going it works with my car
I'm already £90 diags + reset unit via battery disconnect etcReplenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
Wait a few months for the adapter fascia to come out and put in an after market double din unit is what I would do or buy second hand one off ebay (theres a few on there for less than £100 and it wouldnt cost £100 to fit unless it needs coding to the car or something daft - not try and change the car because the original headunit is faulty as you will lose more money than the cost of a new replacement part.0

Echoing what others have put - i'd be looking at fitting the new unit or a used one. You're going to be down £,£££s to change your car when you factor in the loss on your own, possible negative equity and the immediate loss on your new car.0 -
I would imagine at least one of that model of car has been written off and there would be an original factory stereo. You may even be able to buy one from the dealership, you certainly can with most other marques. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Seems silly to buy a new car on finance because the wireless is broken.
If you must though...
Try the poverty spec Dacia sandero @ £6999.
These give you all the "benefits" of Renault "engineering" :rotfl:and come with a hole into which you fit your choice of radio.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
