I'm afraid you're going to have to dumb it down for me further.

Taking my wife's card for example on her dual cam 698 (& even my 128GB before it started acting up) I've used a 128GB card and it's filled the whole thing & i can access all the files perfectly fine when plugged in to a card reader, all in the same way as i can when using a 64GB card or a 32GB card.

    So what are you saying?

Not trying to be funny here, just trying to understand because it's obviously gone way over my head :rotfl:

I don't know how all the devices utilise the memory, I know mine will only address 32gb, If for instance you put 20gb of ram in an older PC, the machine won't be able to use it all .

On top of that the dash cams will have a more basic processor trying to do lots of things, the larger the address range the more work the processor has to do, so in some cases it can be beneficial to have a smaller card , I also trust you use a class 10 for video card and not just the lowest price largest storage?
