This is too complex for you to sort as your ex sounds unreasonable.

    Definitely stop paying his bills..

Don't agree to anything and get professional help. He sounds as though he wants everything done on his terms

As others have said, it's not just the house that needs sorting, pensions are a big part as well.

Tbagpuss post summed it up brilliantly

Thanks everyone for the replies. I have a small update.

After some of the feedback (stop paying the bills!) from you, i have now stopped paying the bills from this month. I have put this into writing to him, including a reason for the amount of money i transferred him for the mortgage and a breakdown of it (as it was too late this month to cancel some of the utility direct debits from my account).
My name has now been removed from the bills and council tax. The only thing i am left on is the mortgage, home insurance and life insurance.

This news did not go down well, and after more 'unreasonable behaviour' I have spoken with the police and have a crime reference number.

I am going back to my house tonight with 2 family members to collect the very last of my belongings. I hope i don't have to go back any time soon, except when we eventually sort the house out...

Thankyou all for your support. I hope this gets easier. Hopefully this month i will have some spare money for some legal advice.

    xxx
