And did you provide your wife's name and address when you said she was driving?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just start listing your costs. If you get a Letter before Claim, then you send a Subject Access Request and in their reply to it should be the letter you sent. If there isn't they they will be further in the stew - assuming you have proof of postage.

Hi I sent the letter and today I got a response as follows.
Thank you for the enclosing the IAS annual activity report. In regards to the trivial errors comments which you mentioned HX Car Park Managments agrees. A small trivial error such as the one mentioned would be unfair, hence why we have two digit allowance in place, This means that the driver can enter up to 2 digits incorrectly or omit them completely.
On this occation to which the PCN relates there was no record of a registratiom the same as, or 2 digits similar to that of (MY REG) If it had the PCN would not have been issued.
As you state that you were not the driver at the time, it may be possible that the driver entered the vehicle entered the registration of their own vehicle. If this was the case, this is a breach of the terms and conditions of the car park and so you are liable for a PCN. Therefore your data will not be removed from our system.
As the PCN was issued on 04/08/2017 and your appeal has already been declined by HX Car Park Management, you are outside of the timeline to appeal to the IAS or make payment to us. This matter has allready been passed on to Gladstones solicitors. You can call them to make payment.
there is a phone number and a web site.
So my question now is do I just wait for them to take me to court or should I contact Gladstone Solicitors.0 -
Judges are becoming reluctant to find for PPCs in cases of wrong VRNs. Many regard this as a trifling matter, and the Law does not concern itself with trifles.

It is also a scam.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
