The most likely scenario is that the distributor of information holds the licence to submit information and because we don't know the background processes of that there is no full explanation of how they managed to submit fake data without it being blocked originally.

CallCredit have already said the ICO is likely to involve the other agencies on this but they were the originator of the complaint.

Yes. A considerable amount but the benefits outweighed the cost at the time.

£40 per data submission per account.

You have been given genuine advice from people further up the board.
I'll reiterate though... Confess Everything at your earliest opportunity - what you have done / participated in is more than likely illegal at worst / unethical at best.

Personally, I'm with Potbellypig... I don't for one second believe this situation is real. I can't believe that anyone would pay c. £120 per month for x amount of months for this so called service.

I'll happily eat my hat though if the original poster can tell me the name of the supposed company that has performed this service, or can direct me to a website that offers the same.
