Servicing stop!
Terrible service. DO NOT USE!
My girlfriend contacted servicing stop to arrange for her car to get an MOT.
On completion of the MOT, the car was found to have failed on a few things. The total bill came to over £350. She initially wanted to take the car back and get a family friend to fix it, but servicing stop convinced her that if she was willing to let the garage do it and pay for the maintenance straight away that she would get her car back before the end of the day. So to save hassle she decided that she would just pay it and get it over and done with as she needed the car back ASAP to get to work.
So later that evening, she sat waiting for the car and it didn't turn up. She then sat and waited for hours and nobody appeared. Servicing stop claimed it was not their problem and that they couldn't get a hold of anyone at the garage and that they promised the car would be returned the next morning. However it was the same again, the car never appeared. She then asked servicing stop where her car was and if it had been driven at all. They apologized and claimed it was still at the garage and would be getting delivered soon and said that NOBODY had driven it. However the car has a GPS tracker and when we logged on to check it, not only was the car at a completely different address nowhere near the garage servicing stop claimed it was at, it had also been getting driven around. We were able to track its movements on the GPS locator.
We were very worried the car had been stolen and we had been a victim of fraud some how. We were now £350 down and had no car. We made attempts at contacting servicing stop constantly, who continued to lie about the whereabouts of the car before eventually admitting they didn't know and it was effectively lost.
It wasn't until the next day the car finally showed up, with the keys left 'on top of the wheel'. We complained about the whole situation and were replied to with the most condescending and patronizing email you can ever imagine, completely denying responsibility, denying the false claims of car location and whether the car had been driven or not. They even claimed the over 2 days late delivery of the car was down to 'traffic'. Its actually laughable.
Absolute shambles of a company.... tricked us into paying over £350 for something we could of got fixed for a fraction of the price, lied about delivery of the car to get this money, lied about the whereabouts of the car, lied about it being driven, patronized us over the phone, patronized us over email, have made no efforts towards seeking compensation for us other than that they will 'put it under investigation'.
The person we dealt with was called Tony and the person who dealt with our complaint email, the condescending one, was called Hannah.
My best advice for anyone would be to do your own research, try to find a garage you can trust and whatever you do... DO NOT USE SERVICING STOP!!

Why didn't you advise your GF not to use them?0 -

Just google 'servicing stop reviews' and you'll get a general idea of how valued this company's services are. Why people entrust what is probably one of their most valuable and vital possessions to companies without doing some even basic research is beyond me. Price before everything, it seems.0
