If it's had a good service from a trusted mechanic and he has looked over it then I would be inclined to keep it for a while.
At 11 years old it isn't going to be perfect but a decent service and long MOT on should see pretty cheap motoring for a year.
I really don't see the point in ditching it on what amounts to a hunch that it might have been abused.0 -
Well the length of time since the last service and lack of oil cannot have done the engine any good and are more than a hunch I think but I am going to keep it for now. At least I am covered for 6 months against faults that are not new.0
