Savvy_Sue said:Sadly for you there's a 'cap' and holiday entitlement all relates to five day weeks: there's no entitlement for more if you work 6 days pw.Yes there is. Holiday pay is calculated based on weekly pay. So if you earn £600 for doing 6 days instead of £500 for doing 5 days you're entitled to 5.6 weeks at £600. If you take a week off even though a normal working week is 5 days you'll still be paid £600.If you work varied hours where overtime is not optional or you're on agency/zero hours then your holiday pay is calculated as an average of the previous 12 months (used to be 12 weeks but changed in April).

Nope, you're wrong. They're entitled to 5.6 weeks at 48hrs per week. Source: someone who has worked up to 84hrs a week.paddedjohn said:A worker doing 4 x 12 hour days will still be entitled to a min of 5.6 weeks leave but that will be 22.4 days at 12hrs
