Are you seriously telling me you read all the terms and conditions...every word...and understand what it all means...
They never mentioned reading T&C's, just asking your question before you signed up which would have been the smart thing to do.And are you really going to believe what a salesman tells you?
Not even sure what you're referring to there.0 -
And are you really going to believe what a salesman tells you?
You don't need to believe them. Their Ts&Cs are clearly listed on their site for anyone to view. The point of this thread is to find out if they use any hidden terms against customers and what (if any) do they twist to make you pay more or get stuck with them.
And as said by macman, if it's important to you, the time to ask these questions is BEFORE you sign up not after. A perfectly reasonable comment given you have raised concerns.0 -
Yeah VM salesmen love to lie. Anything to get their commission and pay their wages0

I was with them for a few years. There is an annual price rise, usually £5, and they bombard you with mobile offers. My internet connection was sporadic and would go off every couple of weeks. Their internet team's in India, so wouldn't know a great deal about how to fix the problem and would book engineers... for 2 weeks later. One engineer accidentally disconnected my phone so I had no landline for 2 months. They will refund a little of your broadband if it's off for longer than 24 hours, but it's a few pounds (and you need to ask them). Careful when you're agreeing to faster broadband as they set up a new contract (which they don't tell you about). In my experience they were really poor. The only time they were efficient was when I left and they disconnected my services. Says it all really.0

They are a very spammy company, but their broadband is good. I am calling them tomorrow to get a reduction in price, or I am off to TalkTalk.0
