Madasafish!

My contract ends with Madasafish on 13th of this month, I emailed them in October to cancel from that date.
I called them yesterday to get my mac code to have handy if I find a good deal for broadband and of course they tried to get me a good deal from them. Now I've been happy enough with madasafish, I initally signed up paying £10.99 per month for 6 months and then £16.99 for the remaining 6 months.
I just want to move because there is huge savings to be made with broadband services.
Anyway the girl told me I would receive an email to my madasafish email with the mac within 4 hours, so I've tried to sign in today to see this email
Now my account is paid as usual up to date and as I said before no problems, is this just a tactic to stop me getting my Mac code?

Hi Cate,
That email is for pay as you go users who don't sign in once every 35 days? Do you have a second account that is pay as you go?
If you PM me your Madasafish username I'll get it all sorted out for you and make sure that you get your MAC.
Kind regards,

No I'm definately in a 12 month contract with yourselves.
I have just called and received my mac, Thanks for offering anyway, it's been a bad morning
I'm only moving from madasafish simply because of the price, even averaging it out over 12 months it works out at £13.99 but I think comparing that to al the other competitors it's still relatively high
Thanks

I realise that price does play a factor; however keep in mind that no two ISPs are the same. Quality and reliability of service is going to vary from provider to provider - this shouldn't be a decision made on just cost alone.
Here is a good tool to use to compare: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/isp/compare.htmlMadasafish Customer Care0
