Hi, Just joined BT Mobile yesterday with a new phone (Sony Experia XA1) Since yesterday evening I cannot dial out - all I get is a message " I am sorry the system is busy please try later" It is still down. Is there a problem with my phone or BT.
Hope someone on here can explain please.
Mike.

BT uses the EE network. Anyone else in the area using EE ok?
more than likely the new Sim not connecting for some reason.
Take Sim out and in again
You have turned off/on phone?0 -
Check the documentation and packaging that came with it. You may need to activate it before use.0

Thank you, It works with my vodafone mobile and land lines just seems a problem with phones using GiffGaff.0

Perhaps the Giffgaff phones need unlocking? Do Vodafone SIMs work in the Giffgaff handsets?0

Turn off the phone, put in the BT Mobile sim and then turn the phone back on again or if the sim is already in there turn the phone off and back on again. Now check that the network stated on your phone is BT Mobile. If not then change it to BT Mobile but I don't know how to change it because I'm on iPhone / iOS. If that doesn't work check that the sim is activated. As far as I know all phones from Giffgaff are unlocked but it's worthwhile checking.0

I'm confused, are you with BT or Giffgaff? BT uses the EE network, Giffgaff uses O2.
