ParkingEye appeal POPLA stage

Hello,
I have read through the newbie thread and gained a rough idea on the appeals process. From this I gather I have shot myself in the foot by stating that I was driving with my partner. I can say that this was a genuine cause for overstaying, roughly 30 minutes over. Unfortunately, as I accepted that I was driving I cannot use the golden ticket version as it does not state a paragraph about the POFA 212.
In any case I am confused on how I would proceed.
I appreciate any help given

If there was a genuine disability-related reason for 'overstaying' then bombard the retailer/landowner with a complaint about failure to make 'reasonable adjustments' under the Equality Act 2010.
In fact the complaint to the landowner/retail is the next thing to do, BEFORE POPLA.
If you had a golden ticket you really have shot your toes off, it was 100% winnable.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Unfortunately Crohn's is not considered a disability as of yet therefore I am not sure how they would react. Sorry if these are dumb questions I really am very new to the appeals process.0

WRONG. Why do people think when we talk about disability that we mean Blue Badges. We don't.Unfortunately Crohn's is not considered a disability
Crohns does absolutely meet the definition of disability in the Equality Act 2010.
For a service provider to cause detriment, harass, or hold a person with such 'protected characteristics' to an arbitrary time limit, is illegal. A person with Crohns who was suffering a flare-up may well have needed additional time, for obvious reasons.
Charging money for the extra time taken, if related to the person's disability, is unconscionable discrimination, and the landowner/retailer is at all times liable for the conduct of their agent in this discrimination.
I tell you again - you MUST make a strong retailer/landowner complaint NOW, quickly, before POPLA is tried as you can't do it the other way round or at the same time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My reply to Euro Garages is as follows :
Hello,
I am writing to complain regarding a parking charge which is wholly unlawful under the Equality Act 2010. My partner suffers from Crohns which absolutely meets the definition under the act and was completely disregarded by ParkingEye. I am appalled by this and do not accept that my appeal was even read and acknowledged for what it was. I would like to escalate this matter to whomever is in charge and would like to speak to them over the phone to explain why I am being held at ransom by ParkingEye who have notoriously been shamed due to their unscrupulous behaviour. I would like this charge cancelled at the earliest date.
I hope this would be good enough, I really do not know how to phrase this.0 -
Thank you so much !!0

OH yes it is
which idiot told you that it isnt ? IBS is covered in various forms
I have A.S. and have had it for decades, it IS a disability under the EA2010 and was also a recognised disability under the DDA1995 and subsequent DDA2005 updated act (replaced by the EA2010)
read this https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201314/cmselect/cmtran/116/116vw31.htm
then find the fool that told you its not and give them a tongue lashing
then find those examples by CM and adapt one accordingly , stand up for your rights under the EA2010 which protects you even better than the older DDA law
reasonable adjustments under the EA2010 is what you need and deserve, nothing less will do
good luck1 -
