This may have been asked already, but I'm not one for searching through all the pages!

I noticed that a lot of the London Souvenir shops on Oxford Street have Bureau de Change in them. The rates they are advertising are well above any of the sources I look at (Post Office/Travelex). I saw shops at $1.43/£ and $1.45/£. The most anyone else is offering is $1.40/£. Is this an obvious scam that I'm not aware of?
