sorry mate, but i have to say, it looks pretty pants for GBP today

trading around 1.48 right now
hopefully its factored in any potential hit today, by dropping from 1.4940 already, but i have a nasty feeling there is more to come

(GBP) The BoE's Blanchflower was quoted by a newspaper as having said that the
UK is in jobs "crisis", government must act quickly. He said that there is a
good chance that UK U/E could rise much higher than 3mn in the downturn.
Cautions that unemployment will likely be the biggest issue at the next
election. HE also said that the govt should act at the next budget to increase
education funding and create new jobs.
