my old man is a wolves fan, so i always have a soft spot for them
he has never lived there (he was born in essex!!), but being a kid in the 50's, he latched onto them when they were successful in Europe and England - prob much like kids latch onto Chelsea and ManU these days.
To his credit, he has stuck with them through thick and thin.
we go up there once or twice a season, and Neil, I have to agree with you, they are the weirdest, strangest bunch of fans i have ever ever seen. I think its a mixture of the accent, strange foreheads, and general attemps to walk and talk like you have never been educated!
nice ground though.
that and the fact they are a nasty bunch.
saying that, i was in a wolves pub that got smashed up, and then burnt down
my mate was arrested against wolves when a police horse stood on his foot. he punched the horses hind quarters to get it off and got arrested for assault0 -
Watched the game and hoped Liverpool would do it and after the first half i thought it was on. I used to watch for the Stoke result weekly as a few years ago me and a mate picked 2 teams to watch for the fixed odds coupon, 1 was Stoke the other Hartlepool, we did alright backing them as their for was pretty regular home and away either winning or losing.0

can't say i have ever noticed that kind of attitude from the fans, but then you probably meet more of them than i do !
they have only had 1 miserable season in the top flight over the past 30 years !!Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
