13. Cable has just tested the 1.3955 former resistance-turned-support level,
after falling sharply from a post-US trade data high of 1.4045. 1.3955 was
today"s Asian session top. 1.3865 was today"s early Europe intra-day low.
Former BoE official Danny Gabay, who now works for Fathom Consulting, says
the biggest sellers of the GBP 2bn gilts bought by the BoE on Wednesday were
almost certainly foreign investors (Thursday"s London Evening Standard). The BoE
will buy another GBP 2bn of gilts on Monday (March 16), and a further GBP 3bn of
gilts next Wednesday (March 18), re: its GBP 75-150bn QE Asset Purchase Programme
