    nice. looks like the weather is warming up too!
    i'm used to going in august when it's 110F. last time i went was december 2007. very strange walking round with a coat on at night.
    i say coat... it was more of a "beer jacket"

    after all that early morning excitement nothing seems to have happened for the last couple of hours!

    that's enough about the messageboard... the £ looks to be holding steady.

    1201 GMT Sentiment is still extremely GBP/USD-bearish and while
    capped below 1.4050 on a closing basis, its short-term trend is down says
    Barclays Capital. However that said, USD is threatening to reverse trend and the
    outlook for risky assets is improving. Should USD selling intensify and GBP/USD
    breaks above 1.4090, then trendline resistance at 1.4230 becomes the next target.
    GBP/USD trades at 1.4020. (GST)
