[14:17 GBP/USD: 1.3900 Revisited, BoE"s Fisher Comments Generate Buzz] London, March 10. Cable has just revisited 1.3900 (London lunchtime intra-day high), as the pound benefits from lumpy US equity price gains (the Dow is currently up 265 points). A 1.3900 option strike rolls off at the 10am Eastern NY option cut tomorrow (Wednesday, 14:00GMT). Above-figure supply is touted at 1.3920, 1.3950 and 1.4000. The pre-weekend low was 1.4039 (Friday). 1.4080-1.4184 was yesterday"s Asian session range.
New BoE MPC member Paul Fisher has reportedly said that the BoE is looking at ways to bring down LIBOR, in a meeting he had with a German bank. Fisher, the former head of the BoE"s FX Division, succeeded Paul Tucker as BoE Executive Director, Markets on March 1 (when Tucker succeeded John Gieve as a BoE Deputy Governor). Three-month Sterling Libor was fixed at 1.91% today, having been fixed at 1.93063% yesterday.
The average interest rate for an instant access savings account in the UK was 0.17% at the end of last month, according to the BoE (BBC website). UK Bank Rate was cut by 50bp to a new record low of 0.5% last Thursday (March 5).
Minutes from last week"s BoE MPC meeting will be published tomorrow week (March 18). The next MPC meeting is on April 8/9.Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

how do you watch it on your laptop?
the Windies aren't even trying to get wickets at the moment. they have 8 players on the boundary. very boring. KP and Prior are trying to get quick runs. but io think its just going to be a draw. the Windies are wasting lots of time as well.0 -

go to http://streaming.skysports.com/epl/login.aspx
you then have to have sports / multiroom.
as long as you have a username / password from "my sky" you can watch any of the 5 sports channels (1,2,3,X, News). superb0 -
