Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I have 200 euros which I wont be using anytime soon. We are off to Florida in May and that would come in useful as a bit of extra money, so i wondered how many $ i would get if i exchange them, would it be better for me to change them to £ or $????

Not a lot of point in changing them into £ if you are then going to change into $. Change the euro when you arrive in Florida.

At present the bank rate for euro to $ is 1.28, but you will of course get less than that when changing currency notes.

1.4246 now but needs to go above 1.4270 before a push on 1.4335

Your best option to make the most money is probably to sell to someone going out to the US then you both save on commission/fees so can meet in the middle instead of getting profit sliced of both sides.

Depending where you are you might find someone on here willing to travel/meet up and do an exchange.

I'm off in a couple of weeks and I'm waiting for the magical $1.5 barrier to be broken through again. Well hoping anyway!
