ACE!!!!!! Looking good, problem with trading is you really need to be on it all the time, when you work its diffcult! family friend is home trader...just set up a new pc system for him with 3 screens etc.....

i work in the Inter-Bank Cash Deposit markets in London for a large International Bank
not in foreign exchange, but i sit about 6 feet away from the FX boys, and have access to all the info that effects the markets

we're knocking on the door of 1.49 right now....

Good to hear the latest updates etc.......keep them coming

The point about crown currency is about insurance policy if things go tits up, coz i get a better rate ahead of time, and as things get closer to the holiday the worse rate i could get due to timescales coming down.

1.4925 now (through the 1.4910 barrier)

1.50 cannot be far away chaps, we are really racing now....


be prepared for some profit taking at some point today though, it has come up 2 big figures from 1.4700 to 1.4900 in just a morning

updated at 9:20am at the mo....for Late April - 1.4885 Will no doubt go up to about 1.49 in about 30mins or so when they next update figures.

I am sailing close to the breaking point with the next scale to buy at you see.

I’m going on holiday on the 7th March, should I take it that I leave buying US$ as late as possible? And what do you think is a likely range for March based on guesses at the minute?

Yes I know it’s a “how long is a piece of string” question, but I’m hoping someone more knowledgeable would give a better guess then I can!
