nice start today for everyones favourite Currency...

bumbling along around 1.4715 for most of the early morning, before rising to 1.4794 a short while ago.

Now its trading around 1.4780

Looking to breakthrough 1.4860 on the upside today
On the downside, 1.4660 is the support level.

well it will certainly have some kind of affect, but as to what way it will make GBP/USD go, will all depend on the full terms and conditions of the whole plan, and whether the markets approve or dsiapprove of it...

Interestingly the dollar is a safe haven currency so if the US economy is helped by these measures the dollar may even fall against the pound. That would certainly explain why the dollar has gained recently despite the problems in the US economy.

Well i know it is being discussed later today. There is a vote to end the debate, in order for it to be passed tomorrow.

but if they don't get enough votes... it scould drag on longer....
