Not a chance in hell they'll lose ITV, relatively few people will miss UKtv but there'd be blood on the streets if they lost their soaps. It's just posturing by both sides.0 -
ITV1 is "must carry", so that won't be going.0

Virgin Media have now decided to use this as an upsell opportunity. Despite being on the phone negotiating for 15 minutes all they could offer me was an upgrade at a reduced price for 6 months. No offer of extra channels or a discounted package price. Not at all happy.:j Comping on & off since 31/08/12 :beer:I comp for fun... and to kill the boredom!0

I’ve just spoken with their retentions team and they confirmed that they are releasing customers from contracts. I was polite and understanding and had no issues exiting from mine even though I had 6 months more to go.
My tip - call early when they open at 8am.0 -
I phoned retentions and have got a £50 credit on my account, happy enough with that.0

Likewise a £50 credit but told I could also cancel my contract early (ends in May 2019). I'd already slashed £50 a month of the bill 8 or so weeks ago so didn't expect a further reduction. Here's hoping they get the channels back as I do actually watch a fair bit of Dave on demand.0
