Letter from Gladstone’s £100 offer before court.

Yes this is continuation of my previous thread... the same case.. (failure to display..) now going to court.
In brief.. we hold a valid ticket.for the day time and duration . they dispute it!!!8217;s not been displayed.
The attendant took obscure deliberate angled photos to authenticate the issuing of a pcn.
Gladstone are asking me for a 100 quid to settle out of court...they think we!!!8217;re playing deal or no deal..
I!!!8217;m happy to go to court, I don!!!8217;t see how I can lose..it!!!8217;s not like I!!!8217;ve overstayed or caused them a loss of revenue to them..
We!!!8217;ve paid for a ticket in good faith and I fail to see how I can be held liable for the deliberate blindness that their attendants have.. they could and most probably do look for any borderline contravention to put a pcn on the window.
I really don!!!8217;t know of any organisation that sets out to collect money for goods or services then to attack the consumer for giving them your business..
Is this them now rounding up the odds that they probably won!!!8217;t win, and having a final cast of the line to snap up some revenue rather than nothing.
cases exactly like yours were discussed in the house of commons today

Hello all
Just wondering what to do with this £100 early settlement letter..
The Court date is slowly approaching and I!!!8217;m wondering what I should do..
Could anyone offer me some guidance on what to do?
Thank you kindly..
The original post as posted. It doesn't mention the op being asked for £100Is it the heat ???? Gladstones have not offered to pay the OP
As the OP says ...
"Gladstone are asking me for a 100 quid to settle out of court."0 -

You know what the dodgy legals do, the clue is
"early settlement"
They don't do that before court unless they know it's
a no win for them and it's their last pitch
They want £100 ... not offering to pay £100

I know. I was, in an obtuse way, pointing out why the op's post needed context.
Whilst regulars know what they meant the opening post was at best ambiguous.
It provided a little amusement at the op's expense but sadly seems to have flown over heads.0 -
Ok, yes I know they are frustrating to those trying to follow along..my apologies..0

That's the English language for you waamo0 -
From your other thread, it appears you'll see a discontinuance soon. Are you within 7 days of the hearing date?
Have you send a list of your costs. You can only claim £19/hour for any research but printing, postage and parking are all allowable. If it comes to more than £95 you'll have to put in a bit more effort to show the Claimants unreasonable behaviour - which should be simple given they knew you had paid. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
