Resurrecting this thread as I'm in the same position with our NC10 which is used when travelling. Just too slow nowadays.

Any advice on a replacement appreciated - needed for two people to share so want Windows based machine so that we can have our own accounts and use various Windows (Office) programs.

Need a smallish screen for convenience.

Surface Go help at all? Doesn’t come with a keyboard, so price that in if giving it consideration.

Agreed - grade A would be nicer!
