If it we me, as soon as I heard the key in the door, I'd don my leopard skin posing pouch, hot pink frilly dressing gown, and a feather boa. Then when the agent entered the bedroom, I'd say
"Oh [name of agent], who have you bought round to play with us this time?. I do hope they're as submissive as the last one. I'll get the gloves and the radishes shall I"I love this idea.
If the OP is still there around Halloween, they could even adapt it by standing in the corner humming a creepy nursery rhyme and slowly turning to face them.
Reminds me of the scene in Step Brothers when he's trying to sell the house. "Can't we get some privacy, he just died last night!"0 -
I admire your restraint. I don’t have gone absolutely ballistic.0

Me too. If I woke up and found people in my home I'd be screaming blue murder and calling 999.
I'd write to the agency AND the landlord, reminding them that they do not have the right to access the property at all except to deal with emergencies or with your consent, or to conduct viewing in the last month of the tenancy, subject to them providing adequate notice and at mutually convenient times.
I would also put in the letter that if they attempt to come in without notice you will regard it as harassment and will report it to the police and take further steps against them and personally against the individuals concerned. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
They'd probably think I am a pedo or something :rotfl: Unfortunately every single time the agents let themselves in I've been in asleep and only woke up when a hear people in corridor so I hadn't really have a chance to play that off!
Maybe a strategically placed gimp suit hanging up in the hallway then.0 -
