First of all sayying there has been no contact when I sent a email off your site to you on the 16th of july.
To which I have had no response to.
I have no idea what this debt you claiming I need to pay is. As I am aware I have no outstanding debt and never have. I would like evidence of this debt with dates of when this debt occurred.
Thank you.
Is this ok.to send back ?
I can't.provide evidence I emailed them as it was on their site. One of them fill in boxes.
Perhaps send this :
Dear Sirs,
Thank you for your recent letter received today.
Unfortunately, I must beg to differ with your version of events, and your definition of the word "contact".
An email was sent to you on the 16th July, in response to your original letter, asking you to provide evidence of my liability for this alleged debt, as to this day, i have no knowledge of it whatsoever.
You have, so far, failed to comply with my request, so therefore, I ask you again, please supply written evidence of my liability for this alleged debt, when, how, it accrued, what balance you allege is outstanding, who the original creditor was, and why you believe it to be mine.
You have 14 days in which to respond, if I do not hear from you by then, I shall consider the matter closed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Top man. Glad I waited before sending. I am not the best at wording things and what I understand that is very important in these situations.0

Right I been googling none stop basicly, reading through other story's.
And it seems it's not uncommon for courts to let the creditors inforce the debt.
And if they don't the creditors can put the money against my house if they wanted to. Can't remember exact wording.
If they come back and say it's the ccj is it better for me to make a offer say 80 percent the total or lower ? What kinda percent are they likley to accept.
Cheers0 -
I mean offer 20 percent by the way0

Right so I have had a reply.
The email contained the balance remaining as all of them have. No evidence on What I owe paid. Ie a ccj for balance owed.
They also just sent my scans of the documents of the hpi agreement I signed I 2006. Prob paid till 2008 ccj 2010 ish.
If they never it was a ccj wouldn't they have just send a copy of the court letter. I asume they would have this.0 -

Debts are bought and sold without any exchange of paperwork, or any knowledge of the debts history, they are bought in large portfolios, in bulk, the new owner then proceeds to wade through whats been sold to them.
They will not be aware of this CCJ, or any prior history, usually its just a name, last known address, an account number, and the balance owing.
My gut instinct says, chance your arm, and send them a statute barred letter (proper letter not email this time) they may just fall for it, or they may then miraculously find the CCJ, that is what i would do, see what Fatbelly thinks before you proceed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
