  • Is there an email address that I can email my witness statement or do I need to post it to the court?

It is normally recommended to take your witness statement and evidence bundle to the court and hand it to the usher and get a receipt. You can e-mail it to the court but if they have a printing limit, you will be at the hearing and the judge will have no or limited papers in front of him/her. E-mail address (if the court allows) would normally be found on paperwork from the court, e.g. the Notice of Allocation or hearing date.
  • Ok great, so I only have to submit it to the claimant 14 days before the court date and not the court? Or do I need to take it to the court printed out 14 days before the court date?
No email address on the court forms.

You need to get it to the court by the date in your letter, normally 14 days before hearing. The advice is to TAKE it to the court (assuming it is local and you picked it on your DQ.) You can of course e-mail it to the claimants. Search the forum for posts including paginated bundle posted by Coupon-mad in which she explains how best to set out your WS, evidence and costs schedule bundle.

Do both by the deadline date on the paperwork

It's that simple , it's a court order , so do what it says

Anything submitted after the due date can be objected to and thrown out
  • It doesn’t say anything on the court order hence the questions, just gives me the court date, doesn’t say anything about deadlines so I’m working to 14 days before. I’ll print out and take to the court on Monday. Thanks.

Phone the court because unless you are reading it incorrectly you haven't had the correct paperwork , there was another one on here this week , same problem , they obtained the details over the phone and got a copy of the correct letter emailed over

The order that talks about each party serving on the other and the court , with a deadline day at least 2 weeks prior to the hearing

Your questions are arising because of this error , but only your court can tell you those details , not us

    Pleas don't make assumptions.

Check again the Notice of Allocation that gave you the hearing date.

Did it not say something like...
Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].
  • Skimad, did you go to court over this? frustrating that in most cases we never hear the outcomes of cases posted on these threads - they just go dead. I too received a PCN from PCM and i'm wondering if they actually go through with court
